On Starting School in September

I must admit when I heard my classes were not going to begin until mid to late September my first thought was not one of despair.
Incredibly shocking I know.
No, my first thought amusingly enough was that I shall be able to read at least three more books if not five in the month I have until then. While this may not seem like a big deal I was quite horrified to realize that this summer I did not even finish half my reading list. (Maybe, it was a bit of an overachievement to put the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy, Count of Monte Christo and the complete works of Shakespeare on said list...) So, while my fellow classmates are trudging along doing homework my free time shall be used quite creatively in finishing the two books I am reading now as well as trying to force myself to sew.
I love sewing- really I do, but sometimes I find my mind drifting and thinking of all the things I could be doing that did not take my complete focus like sewing. Still hopefully the skirt I cut out this evening will soon be wearable.
Maybe, even sometime this year.
